Super duplex round bar is a metallic bar made out of super duplex grade stainless steel. There are different types of steel grades. It is a combination of ferritic and austenitic steel properties. there are standard duplex, lean duplex and super duplex stainless steels depending on their material composition. The Super Duplex Rod could be used in different applications ranging from aerospace to household and kitchen appliances.

Forging is a process that applies localized forces to a piece of metal to reshape it into another shape. There could be different kinds of forgings applied to form any given material. There are drop forging, isothermal forging, multidirectional forging, induction forging, cold forging, press forging, upset forging, automatic hot forging and roll forging methods.
The super duplex material can be forged using compression forging, hot forging, open die forging, cold forging, impression die drop forging, closed die forging, press forging, upset forging and roll forging methods. Different methods would be used for different types of materials. Depending on the need, the nature of the round bar and the mechanical properties, the different methods would be selected.
