Super Duplex Pipe Fittings are made up of super duplex materials which are stronger and have more corrosion resistance to chloride ion corrosion cracking. As one of the leading SDSS Pipe Fittings manufacturers we produce different types of welded elbow, tee, reducer for piping connection and repairs. There are flanges, bends, elbows and crosses made out of different SDSS grade material as well. Naman Pipe & Tubes produces different types such as the Super Duplex Buttweld Fittings which are buttwelded and are stronger at the fitting connections.
The different fittings are used for different purposes. The Super Duplex Elbow Fitting is used to turn the direction of the flow in the pipeline. It could be of 45 degrees, 90 degrees or even sometimes 180 degrees turn of direction. Our SDSS Buttweld Pipe Fittings are buttwelded to create much stronger connections and to make the welding procedure easier. There are Super Duplex Seamless Fittings that have less absolute roughness and high dimensional accuracy which means they could be used in high precision applications such as pharmaceutical and medical applications. Our Super Duplex Seamless Marine Fittings are used under harsh environments and can tolerate high chloride ion corrosion stress. Please contact us further for more information and price lists.

Why impact test is required for super duplex fittings in seawater application?
The impact strength is a measure of how much impact force would be needed to deform a pipe or fitting. It is important to know this value before using the products in an application if the application has possible impact stresses. The seawater applications sometimes are open to the seawater creatures and man-made obstacles like boats. When the possibility of impact is there in applications, then the products used in the applications should be able to withstand the impacts expected. It is for this reason; impact tests are required for products that are used in seawater applications.
